Doktor Kaboom Joins Muse Machine
Doktor Kaboom is proud to have joined up with Muse Machine of Dayton for the 2008/2009 school year!
The Muse Machine is a nationally recognized arts education organization serving 70,000 students annually in 13 counties in southwestern Ohio and northern Kentucky. Doktor K will be presented as one of four kickoff shows offered to intermediate (middle) schools to start the new year off with a bang (or Kaboom as it were).
New Theatre Show!
The premier of the new theatre show at the Schuster Center in Dayton, Ohio was a grand success! Many thanks to all those who braved the cold on a Wednesday night in January to help make it so. All of the new material was received with great enthusiasm; each piece was listed as someone’s favorite part of the show in the followup comment sheets. Even the all new “Doktor Kaboom Rap” was a hit. Stay tuned for upcoming performances.

We have just added a new module to the Doktor Kaboom Show, entitled “Math Magic”.
This module, for Middle School, High School, and the higher grades of elementary schools, is about taking the fear out of math by introducing students to the fact that math is patterns. Students are introduced to some very basic Mathematical Patterns which allow them to have fun performing impressive lightning quick calculations, suitable to their grade level. Interactive demonstrations include Doktor Kaboom performing these mathematical feats, solving difficult calculations faster than students with calculators, and then teaching the audience how to accomplish some of the same techniques! Students leave the show
excited not just about Science, but also about Math!
